I finally update my dA journal after a long while-- [has it been a long while? I dont really know. :))] Anyway, man! The fair was super, totally, awesomely and EPIC-ly FUN! :heart: <<gay

A word to the people who discriminate cosplayers (this was really my comment to a journal but yeah xD) The journal was about "cosplayers being pathetic"

"Hi there! I'm a cosplayer myself so frankly, I was really irritated by this.

First of all, cosplayers are NOT pathetic. We would have appreciated it if you just kept it to yourself, but no. You just had to post it online so everyone will know that you're a big anti-cosplayer shit. I'm sorry if I'm saying rude words but these words doesn't even compare to the shock that you've given us cosplayers. If you have a problem about cosplayers, talk it out with the finder.

Second of all, cosplaying is a damn hobby. So what if other people think our costumes suck? So what if we trip on the stage and humiliate ourselves? So what if we dance Hare Hare Yukai? The thing is, we cosplay because we want to. It's not for YOU'RE viewing pleasure. Go get a life.

Lastly, saying that we bastardize cosplay is bullshit, man. Everyone wants fair judging, be it in cosplay or American Idol, Its the truth. And we are not nerds who "plague" the internet. We post because we want to show the people that cosplaying is fun. You get to express your other side in cosplaying. And FYI, cosplayers have a lot of friends.
